Santa Catalina Panama

Santa Catalina is a small coastal town in Panama that is very popular for its waves and for its direct speedboat connection to the impressive Coiba National Park. Although it has just over 400 inhabitants, about 100 of whom are foreigners, the town offers several lodging options, some restaurants, and a couple of nightclubs, as well as dive schools and tour agencies for visiting Coiba. An interesting fact about Santa Catalina is that there are no ATMs in town, and it only has two small shops that carry basic supermarket-type products.
