Arenal Costa Rica

Arenal is located to the north of San Jose. It's an active volcano, surrounded by waterfalls, hot springs, and a large lake, making Arenal a fascinating place to visit. The volcano can be seen from all parts of the Arenal region, and you can even feel its presence due to the constant tremors and minor eruptions. There's a safe and beautiful trail through the rainforest, offering stunning views of the wildlife and natural beauty. It's a relaxing experience just to take in the sights. While the volcano is the main attraction, there are numerous activities to enjoy around it. You can appreciate the beauty of the hot springs, go water rafting, visit the Arenal Butterfly Conservatory, or embark on one of the many hiking tours showcasing the area's natural beauty and wildlife. On one of these hiking tours, you can go without a guide and follow a trail leading to a beautiful waterfall. It's quite delightful to cool off in the waterfall after a long hike.
