Sámara Costa Rica

Sámara is district five of the canton of Nicoya, in the province of Guanacaste, Costa Rica. The district covers an area of 109.51 km² and had an estimated population of 3,510 inhabitants in 2011. Its administrative centre, also called Sámara, is a small tourist town on Costa Rica’s northern Pacific coast. It is arguably the most important tourist centre on the Nicoya Peninsula and a key point of reference on the Costa Rican Pacific.
